"We thought the host was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. Wanting to please and help any way she could. We had to arrive late and she waited for us to arrive. Our room was very clean as was the bathroom. She did offer to wash up some clothes for us as we are traveling on the road. I did notice the laundry as one of the amenities however to us that means an available washed and dryer to use. Understanding now here in Italy that means a washing machine and hang to dry. "Don't worry about the road condition (a bit pot holed and worn) or the slightly difficult to find hotel entrance, the stay was great. The room was large and immaculately clean. Though our limited Italian caused a few laughable glitches (or fault not the staff), the service could not have been better. The food was excellent and overly abundant. "The location is good, at the main walking streets. As bus will stop at north and south, hotel is in the middle. It's a perfect location. It takes around 20 mins bus from railway station or CIMINO terminals. Just walking distance to old town. Room is new and clean, breakfast is serving at a cafe nearby. Bread and croissant is good taste. Coffee is good too. Staff is nice, help a lot and can give some help even at the night time. I will stay again if I travel Taranto again."

"Francesco and Melissa were great hosts in this stunning house. They gave us loads of information on where to go during the days and where to eat in the evenings (excellent restaurant every time). The breakfast was nice and beautifully prepared, like everything else they did (attention to detail was perfect). The room was unbelievable for the price, a huge bedroom, a bathroom bigger than my living room and a massive outside area on the roof with an outdoor shower, which we loved."

"The staff at Masseria Le Lamie are fantastic. They genuinely want you to have a great holiday and they will go above and beyond to ensure that you have a wonderful time. The pool and lounge area is very relaxing and has olive trees to provide natural shade. The rooms are spotless and the bed is really comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant is also a lovely experience. You do need a car because Masseria Le Lamie is not within walking distance to the nearest town."

"Great place to stay, especially for couples. The room is very pretty and well made. It's a one minute away from the pedestrian zone so it's very walk friendly! Located about 20 minutes from the old city. Close to a few good supermarkets too as an added bonus."

"Nice place, good airco, in the old town close to restaurants etc. Breakfast was sad (pre-packed toast, butter and jam). The city of Taranto is not very nice, a lot of boarded up homes, streets at dirt etc. There is not much to do. I thought the price of the room was high considering that city."
