I brought my husband this time and he loved it too. Parking not available at hotel itself but NCP car park half way up Broad Street a few minutes down the hill from the hotel. Easy to walk down to the beach and a few moments walk to Langmoor Gardens. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Charnwood Guest House. The spotless room had a comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facilities and hot shower. Breakfast was served fresh to order each morning. Location was a short walk along the river from the beach and restaurants. Finally a shout out to Ruth and Phil who were the most charming hosts you could hope to meet."

"It was a lovely looking room, although the blind was broken. The staff were very friendly however I was not given the code to leave via the gate outside of opening hours (it was not on the key ring as it apparently should have been) and spent the morning stuck and unable to leave. Then breakfast (which was supposed to run from 9 until 11) was not available because the staff were locked outside and no-one had turned up with a key. I had to give up and go elsewhere for breakfast, at my expense....

"the property is perfectly located 2 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the town center. the hotel is in a beautiful building with a gorgeus garden and a dreamlike view of the bay. the rooms are clean and spacious, the breakfast is delicious but the best part for us were the people working there, They always make sure you feel welcome and provide excellent service, give suggestions and tips on what's going on and what to do around the area. the vibe of the place is just great.
