"We had a fantastic two-week stay at Mitsis Rinela in summer 2024! From the moment we arrived, the experience exceeded our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a room with access to a shared pool, which really elevated our holiday experience. The room was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. We especially enjoyed the evening entertainment—it added a lovely touch to our nights and created a great atmosphere around the resort. The dining options were another highlight. In addition to the main buffet, there were several à la carte restaurants offering a nice variety of cuisines. One thing to note is that these restaurants require advance booking. Unfortunately, we weren’t aware of this at first, so we missed the chance to use our full quota of reservations. It would have been helpful to get a heads-up about that upon arrival. Overall, though, Mitsis Rinela offered a beautiful and relaxing getaway with great amenities, top-notch service, and memorable moments. We would definitely love to return!"

"A luxurious hotel right at the port. Heraklion itself is not that great as a destination (though the museum is good), but the Megaron is the best place to stay if you come into the port. "

"Good location, great staff!! Friendly people and walkable distance to main square. The only thing is the shower door is see thru so if you are traveling with friends just a little awkward and make sure no one walks towards the bathroom side for privacy Other than that, everything else was perfect! There was a luggage room as well if your flight is beyond the check out time. "

"The property is beautiful, but the service is above and beyond any expectations! The reception team under the management of Mr Nikolaos Poulakis will do everything possible to make your stay comfortable and incredible. Same with dining experience - the service is impeccable. The rooms are a little small, but clean, and the beds are comfortable. Some comfy chairs and a table would be useful especially if you like to eat some of your meals in the room. There is no common areas for family time and board games. The hotel is not equipped to service disabled guests, which is quite a downfall In general, the place is very well kept and peaceful. The amenities are great and the rural area setting around the hotel makes you feel like you are in a bubble of serenity. The spa is wonderful and very welcoming. We have spent a wonderful week at this beautiful facility and enjoyed every minute of it. We will be back. We highly recommend this gem. "

"Honestly, we arrived late and because earlier ferry cancellations just ate breakfast and left. The breakfast had a large variety of good food, the staff was attentive and the rooms had simple luxury. The location is central."

"Beautiful resort hotel! Very clean, friendly staff, excellent food and amenities. Ping pong, darts, exercise classes, spa, 8 clean pools, just walk steps to the beach. Amazing customer service! The staff speaks many languages, Greek, English and German. True Cretan food with amazing chefs! Again, best resort that takes care of everything for you! From excursions with lunch to romantic dinners on the beach. They truly have not forgot any detail! A great place to getaway and truly feel like you are on a vacation where everything is taken care of for you! "
