"We stayed 4 nights but wished it had been longer. The villa is lovely with 180 degree views of the lake. It is very well equipped and has a comfortable king size bed. There are good restaurants nearby."

"We are just back from a wonderful break at the villa in early May 2024. The villa is better than the listing shows as they have refurbished since the photos were taken. Very clean and comfortable with full amenities. We had beautiful weather so were able to really enjoy the gorgeous outdoor areas and a dip in the lake. We really enjoyed a peaceful week, mainly hanging out at the villa."

"First, I’d like to say how much we enjoyed getting to know Francesco. He’s the best host you could hope for. A very positive, bright man who set the tone for the stay. He helped arrange for the private chef, Umberto, who catered to everyone’s request and dietary need. Francesco came the next morning with Cornetti for our family and friends to enjoy.The property is impeccable with perfectly groomed lawns, amazing views, and a great location within walking distance to the local town of Argegno. We watched amazing thunderstorms break over the lake and the sun rise through the mist. The village location is quiet and authentic and very pretty . "Nice place on Lake Maggiore. Easy steps to the lake. Enough parking for two cars up on the street and wonderful restaraunt a short walk away. Plenty of space for the four adults in our group."

"Onze week bij Villa Sassi verliep perfect. Laurence was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De locatie, het huis en de tuin waren magnifiek en op ideale afstand van Como-centrum en omgeving. "Nice view in a historic villa in a calme place."

"Beautiful home with two gorgeous terraces. The shower is a bit tight but the main bathroom is overall very nice. Parking is a bit of a challenge but it’s not terrible you just need to orient yourself in the area because there is lots of parking a very short walk from the property. Angelo is an amazing host. Live like a local at this villa!"

"The layout of the house was excellent for 2 families with stunning views over the lake. Sitting on the balcony was peaceful and quiet with easy access from the garden straight onto the lake. It is also well equipped with everything you would need. We would like to return."
