"The hotel is set in a small village on the top of a hill overlooking Lake Como. The view is gorgeous, the restaurant was awesome and the staff are so lovely. I didn’t find the room particularly comfortable but we stayed in the least expensive room so perhaps the more expensive ones are a bit cozier. Our room was very basic and a bit run down but it’s an old building and has a lot of charm. Overall, it’s lovely but if you want luxury, I would recommend upgrading your room to a suite. "It is very good hotel, exellent for the price. Beautiful view from the balcony, walkable distance to Orta San Julio, 40 min drive to Lago Maggiori. The room was clean and big, the restaurant is very good. I only should mention that in our room the Internet connection was very weak."
