"The owner of this property is a horrible man. I stayed at the property for a wedding. Upon checkout I was told I had to pay additional fees. No problem, it was just 70 euro, but the front desk was unable to give me a bill with the reason for the charges. This was at 8am. I explained that I had an airport transfer was 8:30am and we had to pick up other people. "The hotel is truly special, its decoration minimalist but of exceptional taste, modern but simple, with a deep ecological concept. Ms. Käte and her group of collaborators are very attentive and friendly. My son had a fall and they took care of him immediately. The breakfast that combines the delicacies of Tuscany and the German concept is really delicious. I would definitely return!"

The hotel check in details clearly show last check in at 9.00 pm. Suffice to say we were not impressed and would not recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay there. There has been no contact from either the hotel or Expedia since this."

"We had a lovely stay and the hosts were warm, accommodating and responsive. The location is incredible -- extensive views from both sides of the property; the hilltop village setting is out of a postcard with lovely little streets and nooks to explore; and the local shops, market days, restaurants provide everything needed locally. The property is adequate, a little rustic, but well suited to time outdoors by the lovely pool and as a springboard for day trips throughout amazing Tuscany....
