"Perfect for staying by the Inselsee for a couple of days. Beautiful location by the lake. Maybe better to come with a car, but 15 min walk there are occasional buses to train station also. Bike rental nearby. Service superb and friendly. Nice buffet breakfast. With such bargain price really worth to go for. "

"A very loud fire alarm went off at 4am and went on for quite a while. I was already running on the stairs when it stopped. Goodbye sleep. The following morning I was expecting some apologies but no. When I mentioned it, the guy at the reception very cheerfully said "Oh, that. Yes, there was no fire, it was just a coffee machine. But so we know that the alarm works!" Which is Mecklenburg-Vorpommern idea of sense of humour, maybe."

"Wir haben hier ein wunderschönes verlängertes Wochenende verbracht. Ein sehr schönes, ruhig gelegenes Ferienhaus. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung, aber auch die Ostsee ist gut erreichbar. Im Haus ist alles ordentlich und gepflegt. Es bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und gibt gerne Tipps zu Ausflügen. Wir kommen sicher mal wieder, dann gerne länger."

Die Küche ist schlecht ausgestattet, kein Backofen, keine Geschirrspülmaschine, nur drei Stühle obwohl für 4 Personen. "This is a hostel and not a hotel. It is only ideal for one night. They do not clean the room nor give you fresh sheets or towels during a longer stay. We stayed 6 nights and it's too long. If you want these services you have to pay for them. I understand not cleaning but you need towels during a long stay. Any room that faces the square will face 24 hour noise from Street cleaning at 6am, the setting up of market stalls at 6am three times a week, church bells all night and shouting and screaming...
