"It was quiet and beautiful. The cabin is definitely rustic, although has all the amenities you want, (wifi, dishwasher, etc.) There is a gorgeous nature preserve close by, and I took walks and did an enormous jigsaw puzzle while feeling like I was in a treehouse. "

"Cute area with restaurant and live music. Cute room and super comfy bed. Nice deck and jacuzzi. We enjoyed our stay. "

"The property was lovely, and access to the beach from the backyard... priceless. Loved the ability to bring our pup along for the weekend. Great views and beautiful sunsets. A few things could use a little TLC, and the listing updated to reflect. Also a note that the septic system has a bit of an offputting sulfur smell, but totally appreciated the hot/cold water filter provided. "

"This property was amazing. It was clean, updated, and in a beautiful location where you can see the ocean through the trees. The hosts provided a lot of great information about the island. We saw some deer grazing one morning which was awesome. We were vacationing in the PNW for 2 weeks and we both said we wished we had spent more of our vacation on Orcas in this great place. Thank you!"

"The cabin is a wonderful combination of modern conveniences and charming log cabin. We were there in November so I can't rate the lake for swimming, but the lake view is beautiful. We were very happy there, and hope to return some day!"

"Love the location and little cabin in the woods. Short drive up to Bellingham, retro decoration, quiet and peaceful."

"We love this little cabin--it's the two of us and we enjoy doing our own cooking. It's cozy and there are delightful sitting areas both in the sun and on the porch. "

"Absolutely loved my stay here. I was looking for a nice place to escape from everything and this was perfect! Beautiful views of the deck, and on the beach, and even driving to the house. Super clean and simply, yet perfectly decorated. Stocked with anything you could need. Very responsive and helpful hosts, and clear directions listed. I would strongly recommend visiting this beautiful, quaint island and staying at the Huckleberry!"

"When we arrived the code we received did not work, we had to sit on the phone for 20 minutes in the cold rain trying to figure out a code with the after hours help line. For what it’s worth, the help line was super friendly and did everything in their power to help. When we got in all the art work was missing off the walls. The nails and hooks were all still there, and even dust from where the frames use to hang, but no art (very weird). There was also promise of Duraflame logs (required) for...

"Quaint cottage with an amazing view and a beautiful yard. The island was very charming and we enjoyed the ferry rides, especially the three and five year old. Would definitely rebook."

"Great place to take the family, with easy access to private beach and stunning water views. Nice big backyard to play in with deer walking through after dusk. Downsides were a bunk bed that was literally falling apart and some damaged window screens."
