"We very much enjoyed our stay, taking time to visit Blaye, St Emilion and the city Bordeaux. Places we would happily visit again. We ate outside in the shade of the cherry tree each night. The well stocked DVD library meant our kids were never short of entertainment. The owner Herve gave very good advice on local amenities and places to eat. The property is in a quiet neighbourhood of the village and we enjoyed several walks to the nearby banks of the Dordogne river. We recommend this property...

"Our cottage was located about 30 minutes north of Bordeaux in a very quiet community. The owners lived right on the property and if we needed anything we’re just a knock on the door away. The unit itself reminded us of our lake cottage with cozy but somewhat outdated furniture. But that suited us just fine. Our main purpose was to have a home base to visit wine chateaus and it was perfect for that. "

"This apartment turned out to be ideal for me. The tram line was a 10-minute walk, and a LeClerc supermarket about a 6-minute walk. It isn't very close to any of the area attractions, but that means it was very quiet and peaceful, especially out in the beautiful garden! Everything is accessible by bus or tram, however. "We really enjoyed our time in Bordeaux - such a beautiful city with lovely buildings and streets. We will certainly return. The accommodation was just right for us, thank you. Also, thank you to Tristain who met us on arrival and explained all to us. Facilities in the accommodation are good with excellent bed rooms and family dining area. The only issue for us was the shower in the lower bathroom: with first use we noticed it flooded out onto the floor - so had to use only a small flow of water...

"We had al lovely stay there. The swimming pool is perfect. Always heated at a nice temperature. Different spots for sitting and an astonishing terrace with an nice view. At night you can spot even some wildlife walking next to your terrace. Very special!"

"This is such a wonderful place to stay. Stunning, spacious, quiet, relaxing and utterly beautiful. The swimming pool is excellent and was well used. Facilities were all super. Decor was really amazing. Béatrice and William our hosts were lovely. They live next door but were not intrusive just very helpful with our stay. Would definitely love to return. "

The house was conveniently located a short walk from public transportation and allowed us to easily see the city of Bordeaux as well as a trip to the nearby wineries. "This was our second visit to this hotel. Previously we came in a summer ,but this visit was on the last day of Bordeaux Xmas market. The hotel is situated on the tram line which you can buy tickets at the machine or on the app. To get into centre takes about ten mins. Across from hotel is the river which you can walk into Bordeaux with lots of restaurants and shops. A lot shut in the winter, but definitely worth a nice walk.
