"This property is in a great location. It was spotlessly cleaned and had everything you could possibly need. The owner had liaised with me before arrival and had toddler proofed the property so we could relax and enjoy the space. So many quirky touches that enhanced the experience. This was a family break with a toddler, her mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and each generation was comfortable and enjoyed the stay. "

"We stayed for two nights in this small but lovely shepherd’s hut. It was kitted out well for 4 guests (but I think it would be very tight for four adults) and it was clean and very comfortable. It has a lovely private outside space and was very quiet. Good place to access the delights of Whitstable. "

"Very noisy due to traffic. Lounge sofa's very small and inadequate for adults, outside light not working need torch to find key hole. Bathroom and toilet very difficult to access due to poor layout no USB ports, no welcome pack, had to go to shop for milk after 6 hour journey. Wouldn't recommend staying here."

The log burner was perfect to come back to after an autumnal walk a long the beach. "I recently stayed at this house with friends and family. In total, we were 8 adults and 7 children ranging from 1-15 years old. It is a very big and comfortable house. It is in need of some TLC, the decoration is old but that is shown in the photos and reflected in the price. The heated indoor pool was amazing and saved our holiday as it was raining most days we were there. There were also many inflatables in the pool which was a nice touch. "We had booked a boat on the Thames for my 50th birthday for bank holiday weekend.. two days before we were due to leave it was cancelled due to the rivers being on red alert. Having spent months planning it we didn’t know what to do instead. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Le Chateaux was available. Communication with the host was disappointing as no messages were answered and there is no BBQ on site, despite it being listed in the property details. Something to be aware of for future guests-the floorboards are extremely noisy and all movement can be heard throughout the house."

"We had to book at the last minute due to an emergency family vist in the area,Tracey who greeted us on a late arrival was very friendly and went out of her way to get us some food as the kitchen was closed when we arrived,it was much appreciated.lovely grounds to sit in on the outside and in.we had a dinner the next evening at Mickys dinner just 10 min up the road wich was recommended to us,nice friendly staff and nice food."
