"This was a beautiful place to stay, more like an apartment with full kitchen, dining space, lots of room. The owners were wonderful. On the off season, there aren't many restaurants open in the area, which we knew, so we brought supplies to make some simple meals and also found some delicious cod at the IGA in Lubec. We saw a lovely sunrise from the balcony about 6am, when the lobster boats were getting ready to go out, will stay here again!"

"For us, the large, securely fenced yard made all the difference for our Jack Russell. Beautiful views of the bay from the porch, the living area, and the upstairs bed room. The upstairs bedroom was very comfortable although the stairs are a little steep. Our host was quick to respond to any of our questions and the house is an easy drive to a well stocked IGA grocery store. I recommend bringing your passport and going to Campobello Island. See Liberty Point for some beautiful cliff views."

"Our 3rd stay at Seaside Sanctuary and this time we stayed 2 weeks. Stacey is always super-communicative and the house has everything you could possibly need. We were able to get in some nice day trips down to the Schoodic Peninsula of Acadia National Park, Milbridge, Calais, Eastport, Reversing Falls, Machias & Jasper Beach. We caught a sunrise at West Quoddy Head Lighthouse and explored Cobscook Shores and points around Lubec and the Bold Coast. We spent about 1/2 the time there just "being" at the house- soaking in the views, getting out on our kayaks and taking in the ever-changing tides, wildlife & scenery. And the QUIET; maybe the quietest place we have ever been. We were also treated to 2 nights of the Aurora Borealis, which were absolutely stunning! This is a very special & magical place and we will be back, hopefully sooner than later."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house is very large, and the hosts have added so may extra touches, that make it really feel like a home. It's beautifully decorated, and the kitchen is equipped with anything that you might need. There is a great guest book with a lot of info about local dining, places of interest, and lots of info about the house. All in all, it is a gorgeous house, with all the extras you could ask for. The hosts, Damon and Jamie, are so kind, and were very quick to respond when I had a question. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Lubec!"
