"The staff were very welcoming. I was traveling alone so decided to book the snug bedroom. I was pleasantly surprised. It was well equipped with tea and coffee facilities, large disabled access wet room. TV and an extra rad if I was cold. For the one night stay it had everything I needed. "This is a great pub, in a lovely location. Rooms are delightful and the manager/staff helpful and approachable without being overbearing. We dined in the chalet in the evening and the pizzas were marvellous, as was the wine. The breakfast was also fantastic. This was our second visit and we are already planning another!"

"Nice family pub. It can be a bit noisy during pub open hours but my family were very comfortable and had a great nights sleep. The bar below sells nice selection of beers and the play area kept our daughter busy so we could relax."
