"We are a couple in our 50s and came to Blenheim to visit its renowned wineries. We stayed at the French Fields for 2 nights and it really exceeded all our expectations. If I could give it 6 stars I would. The location is super convenient for getting to the wineries. Our room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. "The cabin/ cottage is gorgeous with grazing sheep in the paddock near by. Beautiful established gardens with lots of bird songs. Hellen and Dave were so welcoming and gracious to us. They allowed our family to use their pool. Beautiful walking areas along the river banks. This is our second visit and we will definitely come back again. "

"This place was great. Pretty, good breakfast, good location. Except it is not handicap accessible. If I had known that there were stepp, irregular, slanted and long steps to front door without even a railing, I would not have booked. Also difficult if you habe heavy luggage. I think the fact that it isn't accessible should be in the description."

"It's hard not to revert to the amazing view as the jewel in the crown here but the truth is that the hospitality shown by Peter and Pat was the real highlight.
