"Jason and Lee were very welcoming. We felt right at home. It is a very secluded location with every guest having privacy. There are only 7 rooms and each one has a shower with floor to ceiling glass so you feel like you are showering in the rain forest. They provide a great breakfast and also offer dinner. We had 2 of our dinners there and they were very good. "

"Loved our stay in the jungle! Great food at the cafe. Snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef was amazing—make sure you rent a wetsuit to avoid a bad burn! Room was clean & ensuite bathroom was great. Loved sitting out on the little porch in the evenings."

"Where to start!! Stay at the Silky Oaks Lodge was truly a dream come true. The staff is amazing and made us feel so welcomed and special from the moment we arrived. Our room was perfect - very clean and the mini bar was stocked with everything you could need. Our view was in the middle of the rainforest with river views and total privacy. We enjoyed time on the patio together and the bathtub was heavenly. Every meal was delicious. Such a dream!!! "

"Daintree Crocodylus are very clear in what they are and what they are not. We found their advice to be very accurate. Yes, they are "very JUNGLY" and that was great for us. My two kids had a great time and really enjoyed being in the rain forest with all the sounds. We met lots of great people in the communal area. "The property was what we expected, though it basically could use a refresh. The pool is the centerpiece, and the bottom is ready for a fresh coat of paint. I strongly suggest you add robes if you're using the words "resort" and "spa" in the name of your property. Also, our air conditioning was tough to use because the remote is old and finicky (it took two members of the cleaning staff to get it to work). "
