"Christine was an amazing host, warm welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The room was a delight, warm with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was divine, a great walk in shower. Food was excellent and Jane the chef was a delight."

"I stayed with the Black Bull for business, nothing was too much trouble, good Wi-Fi allowed me to catch up with family each evening. My single en-suite was clean, quiet and breakfast was particularly good."

"We had a very spacious, clean, comfortable room. Excellent location. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. "

"The hotel didn't seem to be sure of our booking when we arrived. After that, the check in was swift. The room was grubby as was the bathroom. The duvet cover and the pillowcases were marked and clearly very old indeed. It was quiet and the location is great for visitors to Brigg. The price of the room was low and I suppose this was a case of ''getting what you paid for''"

"Booked a twin room which they'd double booked our room but they did managed to sort out 2 single rooms which actually worked much better for my housemate and I. Overall the building is very rustic and quite quaint, the rooms are decently sized, the beds are comfy enough for the short term and the bathroom is very modern. Unsure if there's wifi as I didn't have any for the whole stay but as i was visiting to see family it didn't really bother me that much."
