"Our host Aristeides and his wife were terrific. Very helpful and provided good suggestions. The villa was truly spectacular, better than expected. Very clean and good location. A five minute walk is a small market and also a very friendly restaurant. The Greek food was delicious. We went back on our final night to have some wine, beer and stuffed grape leaves. "

"Me my wife decided to try something different from the usual hotel packages, we were attending our daughter’s wedding and were unsure how many would be in our party, so this seemed ideal, as it sleeps up to seven. Our son and grandson did eventually stay with us. The hosts met us at the airport upon arrival and took us to the hire car I had prebooked through them and led us to the villa. "We have just enjoyed 2 weeks at the lovely villa Stella hosted by the very helpful and friendly Alexandros. Immaculately clean and with the basic supplies, coffee, tea, bread, home grown grapes, bread and salad ready and waiting for us on arrival. We were even treated to a bottle of the owners own grown olive oil. Simply couldn’t ask for more. The road to the house is very steep so a good car is essential. Would definitely recommend. "

"A beautiful villa in a great location. We were able to walk to the local village in less than 10 minutes which has great places to eat and a well stocked, small shop. Lovely view to the hills and sea with an easy drive to the nearest beach in 5 minutes. "Excellent stay at Marina’s villa. Conveniently located 10-15min from Héraklion’s airport which is nice when arriving late like we did. The property manager was very reactive and available at checking in and out. The owners are very nice and offered us some delicious local pastries.
