"Pluses: great location, by the Methow River and across the river from Big Valley Ranch, a favorite birding spot. Quiet, off the beaten path. Comfortable living room and kitchen. Minuses: the directions to get there were very sparse and inadequate. Once you've found it once it was very clear, but need better directions for first time. There were no labels or instructions on any of the light switches or the hot and cold faucets or the heat and the gas furnace. Quite a learning curve. Supplies:...

"If you are looking for a cozy, homey cabin getaway, this is a good place for that. The place felt fairly secluded (even though it’s connected to a few other places) and had beautiful trails to walk/bike on nearby. It was cold when we arrived, but we were able to figure out the heating and felt very cozy next to the fireplace! It was a great place to hang in between our adventures. Thanks for the great stay! "

"*Note that none of us had cell service within 10 minutes or so drive of the property (multiple cell providers). The Restaurant/ Bar down the street let me use their wifi to get the access details to the property. The property was delightful! We loved the sleepover loft and balcony. We also loved the creekside picnic/firepit area even if a burn ban meant no fire. Clean and cozy! "

"We stayed in the cottage while in town for a wedding and it had everything needed. Our daughter loved the loft bedroom and the proximity to the playground at the state park! It is small and humble, but had all the amenities that we needed."

"I have a soft spot for the methow valley so coming to stay here was a treat! A cute and modest cabin for an agreeable rate. Would happily come back here again! Really enjoyed the chickens even though they woke us up early :) "

"We loved it all. The cabin, beautiful, had everything. Saw lots of deer. We had so much privacy, yet was close to the town. We had so much yard space to ourselves"

Sleeping Wolf Cabin is 50 feet from the MVSTA nordic ski trails. Ski in, ski out

"Comfortable place with all the needed amenities. We cooked a big and lavish dinner and host had everything we needed to prepare the meal. I think we would stay here again."

"Property was secluded as we liked it. The amenities at the cabin were nice. We literally would come back late, sleep and then be back on the road again. Lots of deer each morning."

"Everything about our stay was great. The directions were easy to follow, check was seamless, the cabin was clean and had a plethora of kitchen utensils and cookware available. The community pool was great and the river is short walk away. 10/10 recommend!"

"The cabin was great! The location was very peaceful! We enjoyed the pool and hot tub! Kids had a blast. The kitchen cupboards, drawers, coffee pot, tea kettle etc were not very clean. We spent an hour cleaning mold out of the coffee grinder and wiping crumbs and dirt from the inside of the cupboards and drawers but other than that it was to be expected and exactly what we needed! "

"The property owners were kind and accommodating. Our group was riding the WA BDR and they had the space for our truck, trailer and motorcycles. A few of our riders are from Seattle, so the stay in the cabins was a rare and peaceful event."
