We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo."

We were told to contact Karen but no phone number left asking local neighbours did they now any phone numbers and one neighbour new the cleaner and she gave us the code to access the property. For the 4 days we were there nobody contacted us or check if we were even there So check in procedure very poor when you’ve been travelling 13hours"

This was probably the best equipped rental house we have stayed in. Lovely big kitchen, open fire, big beds. Our host, Debbie, could not have been more responsive or attentive, and very kind. We were made to feel extremely welcome, and hope to return some time."

"Just stayed at Ivor‘s house on the shores of Clew Bay and it was brilliant. The photos in the listing don’t really do it justice as the space available to you is huge. All the facilities are spot-on. There were a few goodies for us in the fridge when we arrived and they even put up a Xmas tree as we were there for Xmas. Communication was great. "We've stayed in a lot of properties and this is my new favorite. We brought 3 of our adult kids and 1 daughter in law and there was plenty of space and separation so they didn't keep us up if/when they stayed up later than us. It was old world charm with modern conveniences, and central to so many wonderful sites in Mayo. We went to Cong, Galway, Westport, Knock, Ballintubber, Ballinrobe, and up to Ballina & the incredible Downpatric Head Dun Briste sea stack & cliffs (1 hr & 1/2 scenic drive.)...

We were lucky enough to have sunshine for most of our visit so could sit out and enjoy the 270 degree view of the ocean and farm fields below. "We booked this cozy cottage for two weeks in mid-October. Donna was wonderful. She reached out prior to the stay to chat through the VRBO site and as we got closer she shared things to do and see in Louisburgh and other close towns. We communicated through Whats App once we landed at Shannon Airport (2.5 hours away). She met us at the house to show us how to use the applicances, turn on the water to the showers, lock the doors, etc. She also had flowers and a card for our wedding anniversary...
