"A must stay! We had such an amazing experience at the Banogue house, it was quiet and peaceful which is exactly what we need it. John, our host went above and beyond to make us feel at home and his breakfasts were our fav of the trip! If I were to ever come back, I’d deff stay here again. "It was lovely we were there for a two day break. Staff are lovely and so helpful. Breakfast was lovely . We had the full English which was presented well I had the gluten free version and couldn’t complain . Same for evening meal a varied menu and also a gluten free . vegan , and dairy free . That’s a great choice for people with restricted diets. Also being on the sea front you were on the promenade immediately. Our weather was glorious if a tad cold but it is only March . All in all delightful. . "

"We had a really lovely one night stay here to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. I had emailed the hotel before arrival to let them know of the occasion, and they kindly gave us a room upgrade and left a note and cupcakes in the room. Acknowledgements like this really make a hotel stand out and we were very happy. It was the first time we had stayed since the refurbishment, and all areas of the hotel are beautiful. The room itself was stunning, with views of both of the sea and the Mournes. We are local enough so the sight isn’t uncommon to us, but looking out at it from the hotel room was just spectacular! All the staff are very kind, courteous, friendly and hardworking. We dined in the town but had a couple of cocktails each in the Wolf bar which were very high quality. We appreciate a good cocktail! The breakfast buffet was lovely. Thank you for making this a memorable occasion :-) "
