"We had a great stay. The property is beautiful and fun to explore. It was perfect for our small family and we would love to rent all the space for a family get together in the future. We were there during the holidays and the cabin was decorated perfectly. "

"We stayed at this Days Inn Walcott after an Iowa football game. The hotel is located 40 minutes east of Iowa City off of I80. I booked it for $50 on Expedia so we weren't expecting much. I was a little worried by the stark condition of the lobby but as I proceeded down the hallway, up the stairs and to our room I was actually impressed with how clean the place was. The bed was super soft, probably too soft for most people's liking, and there were plenty of pillows. There are no elevators but only two floors. We would have liked to see in room coffee service but otherwise the amenities were adequate. I was worried about noise but only heard some loud traffic noise, doors closing and people talking out on the hallway around midnight. It was brief and seemed quiet for the remainder of the night. The morning coffee in the lobby was hot and fresh but the only other breakfast options offered were toast, cold cereal, oatmeal packets, wrapped blueberry muffins and juice. We skipped breakfast and grabbed McDonald's next door. For the budget price, convenience and cleanliness I would probably stay here again if the need ever arose."
