"Ensure you have AWD or 4WD and good tires. It’s a 10 miles drive on a very muddy/gravel, low maintained road with lots of holes. There were several times my van almost got stuck and I was sliding all over the road. The tree and water fountain were very cute but there were 2 dead mice around the bottom of the tree, inside the cabin. The road/driveway outside of the cabin was pure mud deep mud. We were going to be in town for my father in law’s 90th birthday and needed space for our large family (8 adults and 4 kids under 6) & I didn’t want separate hotel rooms. A hidden gem!

"Inside this historical building lies a hidden gem! We were upgraded to the King Deluxe suite without asking (& for free!) with a hot tub. The room was clean, the hot tub was perfect, and the bed was heavenly. We will definitely be staying here again if in the area. The manager was so kind & readily available. There is a restaurant/bar downstairs but we didn’t use it. You can’t beat this place - especially for the price! :)"
