My recent stay at the Grand Fiesta Americana had its ups and downs. I had two rooms booked for me and my parents.
Starting with the positives, the staff was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist. The service at the spa was excellent, offering a truly relaxing experience, and the gym facilities were impressive, modern, and well-equipped.
The room was clean, which I appreciated.
However, there were several areas where my experience fell short. Upon arrival, I experienced a late check-in because the room wasn’t ready, we didn’t get into our room until 4:30 pm which was frustrating. As a VIP guest, I was also disappointed to find there were no special amenities provided. Additionally, the air conditioning unit was extremely noisy, I reported the issue three times at the front desk I never got an update for , and our area was loud at night and early in the morning as early as 5am. We stayed in room 305 close to the ice machine making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The shower had mold, which was unexpected and detracted from the overall cleanliness.
While I enjoyed the exceptional service at the spa and gym, the noise issues, cleanliness concerns, and lack of VIP touches made my stay less enjoyable than anticipated.
