"I loved my stay at Canyon Road! There were multiple hiking trails very close, and the drive into the property was only 5 min from downtown. We loved the openness and the kitchen which was stocked with all of the items we needed, and more! We loved the fireplace and the sky lights. One downside was the king bed had clean sheets, I assume, but they didn’t smell like they were freshly washed. "We came on a Sunday night, hard to find on app, and we were completely alone until after dark, as the restaurant is closed on Sunday evening. We loved the room-it could use a microwave especially as it is so isolated)and the views are fabulous"

"The casita is adequate for a short stay. It is smaller than we expected. There is really no place to just sit and hang out. The owners live next door and are extremely friendly! We liked the proximity to the little shopping area and especially the hiking trail. "

"The location and hospitality were excellent. Small quirky things like having to park a block away wasn’t a big deal for us. We spoke to the host about a few other improvements she should consider like better lighting which she agreed to make. Expect a little outside noise like a visit by a garbage truck in the middle of the night but otherwise very quiet overall. Ear plugs were provided although not really needed.
