All of us, 2 adults and 3 kids (2 teenagers among them) just loved the place and the whole neighborhood of Nopolo! We have been to Hawaii, Costa Rica, Cancun, Caribbean, Puerto Vallarta, but this time topped it off in overall experience for us. We also had a car (although not really needed, as the area has everything in the walking distance) and explored the surroundings - Villa Palmar (gorgeous beach, you would have to come close to sunset though and use their restaurant to avoid being charged for using it) and Loreto itself, in which we only liked a few blocks between the Malecon and the Mission. But if you are staying longer than a few days, then there are fantastic beaches north and south from it. Christina's place is very spacious, has 2 floors, a little courtyard with a fountain, a huge sundeck with bbq and a sink upstairs, nice furniture, 2 bathrooms, 2 TVs (we hardly watched it), WiFi, and a full kitchen we used all the time. There are 2 food/convinience stores literally across the street, open daily, good veggies, fruits, milk and cheese, tortillas, frozen Baja seafood, etc., and 7 restaurants in the walking distance. The snorkeling near the rock only 1/4 mile away was great, so was swimming in the shallow sea with very small waves. The water was still 75-76F on Thanksgiving weekend, very clear. The beach itself was nice, but not as wide and the sand was more brownish than white. We used the courts (tennis stadium), 2 miles away, as well as the gorgeous heated swimming lap pool, only 150 feet away. The landscaping, homes architectural designs, view of the mountains and the sea, quiet and peaceful atmosphere, safety/security and absence of crowds were remarkable. But if you are a party type, this place is not for you. In this case, Vallarta or Cabo would be better. But for us it was exactly what we needed. Hope to be back someday!
