First, their "ocean view" description is a stretch. It includes rooms with no view due to vegetation or those on the pool deck with no privacy and a view blocked by a wall. I refused the first room and was offered another, but this shouldn’t happen at this price point.
The pool is unheated and freezing – colder than Whistler pools in winter. On Christmas Day, even the hot tub was cold because "someone left it off." Why not cover it at night to avoid wasting energy and leaving guests without basic amenities? Yet, they had time to call and complain about us drying towels on our patio. Did they offer replacements? Of course not.
Service is mediocre. Empty cans sit by the pool for hours. At breakfast, I found hair in my tortilla and the tables were filthy. The hairy food was taken away, but nothing else – no apology, no resolution. Late-night parties in the hotel's private disco kept us awake despite a 10 PM silence policy, which they break for themselves. My email about it? Ignored.
Amenities are a joke. No fridge, no ice, and no follow-through when I requested a fridge. If there’s no poolside service, at least let guests retrieve cold drinks themselves.
On our last day, getting towels required a form, and the bathroom reeked of sewage. Accommodations are clean but far from luxurious. Management is absent, and they rely on a third-party to respond to reviews, showing they don’t care about guest experiences. Save your money – stay elsewhere.
