"The property has an attractive top floor and good seating outside and lovely views of the Douro. It’s billed as being ideal for families who want to holiday together but have their own space but this isn’t really the case. "The house was exactly as advertised, location was perfect being right in the beach. We had to buy some beach towels since there weren't any in the house and we could not pack any. The host was excellent very quick to respond. Would stay here again. "

"The property was well located with easy and good access to Aramante the Douro valley and Porto. The garden and house are secluded and the surrounding area of vineyards was very quiet and peaceful. The house was really well equipped and very nice with lots of hot water and towels for the pool. We enjoyed walking around the area and into Aramante along the new footpath next to the river. We had a really relaxing stay and would throughly recommend the house to people. "

"The house is located in a nice, quiet, neighborhood on a narrow cobblestone street. We spent most of our time on the patio which is beautifully landscaped with succulents and flowering plants. João, the host, was very quick to respond to any questions we had. You definitely need a car to get around. If you want a quiet getaway this is the place!"

"The place was amazing. Checking in, we were late due to missed train and the accommodated well. Great location. Day before we got email saying check out was 9. Site and king had at 11 so had to email back that it was 11 (we had early plans). They did not bother us and we stayed until 11."
