"Clean, large room with nice bathroom. Great breakfast. Seemingly a favorite for visiting workers. A good choice for our overnight stay while traveling back home. And, for dinner, check out the nearby Fiery Crab. Excellent oysters - raw and charbroiled - as well as a delicious shrimp boil combo!"

"This was my 2nd stay so I can now say that our great stay the 1st time wasn’t a fluke. My pup has a specialist vet in Mandeville and the closer “pet friendly” hotels charge a $75 fee (not deposit), which puts a basic room at almost $200. I took a chance on this property last month and will be a forever customer when traveling with my pup. There is no charge or deposit for 1 pet!!!! It’s not fancy and doesn’t have many amenities but the rooms are incredibly clean and comfortable. I do splurge on the premium room and find the bed to be as comfy (if not more) than some pricier chains. I’m normally not a fan of exterior doors but when traveling with a pet, it’s perfect. I can back my car right up to my room so I’m not trying to haul all my stuff through a lobby while wrangling a pup. There’s no carpet (which I love) and there’s a coffeemaker, hairdryer, microwave , and fridge in the room. I’ll sum this up and say if you’re not looking for a lot of amenities and just want a clean room with excellent bedding that’s extremely budget friendly, this is it! "

"I have stayed her 4 times the past year. I like the location, price, the room is big, and ac is good. staff is all nice and friendly as well. This time, there was a bad odor when I first walked in ... I think from a previous smoker in the room, but I got use to it and it didn't give me a headache. Otherwise, it was perfect. good coffee there too! "

"PROSE: The property was conveniently located to several dining areas. It also had an on-site bar and grill. The room was very nice and the bed was higher than normal(which made it easier for my husband, who has suffered a stroke). The staff was extremely nice,accommodating, and knowledgeable. CONS: Thus was an anniversary stay overnight. We should have booked a longer stay(lol)."
