"This house is roomy and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay in the area. There were six of us. Location is good for visiting World's End State Park and local hiking. We chose not to purchase a temporary membership in Eagles Mere Association. (For our weekend stay, the Association quoted us a $70 fee in order to use facilities. Since we were attending a family reunion in the area we didn't feel we would have time to use the facilities enough to make it worthwhile.) The house had games,...

"We had an amazing stay at Thorne Hill! George was so accommodating and accessible. The property is amazing and the home has such charm and character. We loved cooking in the Kitchen with the fire going in the huge fireplace in the Family room. We even had snow so the kids could enjoy some sledding! "

"We stayed at Laceyville to celebrate my grandma’s 80th birthday. We had a great time and the house handled all 10 adults, 2 toddlers and 2 dogs without feeling too squishy. "We stayed here a week in late August to celebrate some family time before the kids went back to school. Everything was just perfect. Even when the weather wasn’t cooperating we found plenty to do around the house and in Sweet Valley. When the weather cooperated, we were able to hike and swim and fish in many of the surrounding lakes and parks. Highly recommend. "
