The bed is on a mezzanine, however comfortable and I was pleased there was a fan I could use to keep me cool on one of the hottest days of the year. The finishing touches in the bathroom all felt luxurious. "

"Lovely house, spotlessly clean. Heating was on when we arrived and the Christmas tree was twinkling. The house is spacious and welcoming. The hosts are very helpful. Sky glass tv in the lounge was brilliant Loved the musical theme throughout Would definitely book again We had a great Christmas stay"

"A well sized house for a family of 4 that was nice and tidy. There are some lovely walks in the woods you can explore without the need to drive. Winchester and Southampton are both a 15 minute drive and there are plenty of things to do with kids locally. We really appreciated Kerry putting up some holiday decorations for us as we were there over Christmas visiting family."

"Very homely, beautifully decorated with interesting art work throughout, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds.We thought it might be noisy because the trains were near but it was not at all- a very quiet and peaceful location with great walks nearby. The town of Alresford with it's independent shops and plenty of choice for eating out is lovely. We ate well and reasonably at The Bell as recommended by our host. We visited Winchester using the cheap and efficient Park and Ride system. Wonderful...

"Well kept clean property perfectly suited to our needs Adjacent bus stop gave easy access to Winchester city centre and a Tesco was close by plus pubs with dining opportunities. This was our first experience with VRBO, we would certainly use them again and hope for the same excellent standard"

"This is a small 2-bed house with tasteful modern decor. The appliances and fittings are all new and the furnishings very comfortable. As stated, there is parking for two medium size cars, but not SUVs. There was no house book with instructions as to how to change the heating or put out rubbish. But the owner responded rapidly when we asked how to change the heating. There is a small Tesco Express nearby where most basic provisions can be bought. Would recommend without hesitation. "

"Amanda and Ian’s place is truly beautiful with its ocean blue decor, so appropriate for a seaside city. I was welcomed with some food basics and the assurance of the availability of laundry detergent. They were extremely responsive to all my questions and rescued me when a grocery delivery went awry. "The location was easy to find. The host replied enquiry promptly. The flat was big enough for 4, though we had 3 only. It would be great if the intercome was functioned because we had only one key. Most facilities and appliance were clean and easy to use, except the two toilets' fan. They didn't work so it was very wet after having shower. "
