"Pretty big condo style apartment with basic utilities. Buses in the area stops early so if you need to come back to the hotel after 8pm be ready to walk a long trek (from the train station) or to pay extra for a taxi. It is located in a residential area so there are no activities and few restaurants. However there is a grocercy store not too far. The access is secured and the host was super friendly. The apartments in via Marsala are in a great position to explore and enjoy Bologna. Instructions for check in are clear. This is our second stay and we highly recommend."

"Great apartment but the building is undergoing some massive renovation and there was a lot of noise during the day and construction scaffolds everywhere. Both balconies in the apartment had scaffolding out front so we couldn’t use them and had to keep the windows closed. The area isn’t great, typical university type vibe. Didn’t feel unsafe at all, but lots of graffiti. If we go back I’d probably choose a place closer to piazza maggiorie. "
