"We were very disappointed that The Hilton Metropole had no reservation for us despite us having an email confirmation from Hotels.com showing our room had been paid for a year ago. Several staff looked at their monitors but could not find the reservation we then had to move around the corner to speak to someone else which was quite embarrassing. Car park underneath is small and a tight squeeze, and unfortunately full on our stay, but you can park in the secure multi story across the road for the same price as the hotel (just make sure to enter your reg at reception)! "Nice hotel right in the centre of Birmingham, a bit noisy though as loads of traffic and parking was not available at the hotel- option offered to park at 10 min walking distance though. Overall I would say good as convenient to walk to restaurants etc. "
