This unit should be an 4 or 5, but instead it’s a 2 because of so many problems with it.
The management is horrible. All they did was apologize for the problems, thank me for my understanding, and promise to do something – which they never did.
These were the main issues:
1. There was no heat in the apartment for the entire stay.
2. We had warm water the first day but someone had turned off the boiler and when we were in a rush to get out the second day we didn’t have any. Had to take a sponge bath. I figured this out and turned it on.
Things missing or broken
3. We ran out of toilet paper and had to buy some (there was less than a roll in each toilet.
4. Wastebaskets
5. Dishwashing detergent
6. Laundry detergent
7. Washing sponges
8. Tissue boxes
9. A non-slip grip in the shower – my wife almost slipped on the smooth surface – you could be liable for that. We’re careful now so not worried, but a person first here could do that.
10. Measuring cup
11. A holder for drying dishes (this is a must when don’t have a dishwasher)
12. No ice tray
13. Salt and pepper
14. Only half a roll of paper towels in the kitchen
15. Too few drinking cups
16. Light above the stove didn’t work
I spent about 80 pounds to buy a heater and supplies.
No offer of reimbursement was given.
They may have fixed this after we left – but I wouldn’t count on it.
Be prepared to spend money when you get there to get supplies that should be here when you get in. At least there are stores close by.
