"A really cute place with water views. Very friendly staff and good food at the restaurant. I had to leave my passport at the main visa office in Lome, but the hotel still let me check in with just a copy of my passport, which I was very grateful for! The room was basic, but had great A/C. Not-so-hot water and a dimly-lit bathroom, but that wasn't a big deal. Somewhat limited wifi. A nice experience overall!"

"First, there were no signs pointing out the location of Coco Beach Hotel. There was a sign pointing to Coco Beach, but that is a backpacker beach FAR from the real Coco Beach Hotel. It took 2 hours to find the place. No road signs, no street names, phone GPS did not work as soon as we crossed from Ghana into Togo. "There was no toilet paper. I made a request and was given a partially used toilet paper, not brand new. They refused to accept the electronic confirmation number from hotel.com. I had to pay cash from my pocket. I went back with a printed receipt and was refunded two weeks later after I had already left the country. A friend had to pick it up on my behalf. Breakfast was not served as stated at the website. Will never go there again!"
