"First time visit to England from US to visit my sister and nieces who live nearby in Upwell. We wanted a place with AC as we are a bit spoiled as americans when it comes to AC, and found this place near Ely on a fishing lake. It was an exceptional find, to say the least. Close to Ely, the shops and cathedral, and not a far drive to many other places, including Cambridge. The hot-tub was nice, setting beautiful, and hosts were excellent too. Email with key safe details sent an hour prior to check in, more ideal if possible to send a day before, I was informed when calling reception on arrival; hadn’t thought to check, lady on phone was very helpful. Two recommendations: Cabin is well equipped - but missing a small sieve, as partner got mild burn when draining pasta. Also, an option of a retractable cover over hot tub/outside sitting when it rains would be great as we were a little restricted...

"Great spot and rooms and well kept. We could hear people walking above our room and the carpet is not conducive for luggage. Staff are incredibly friwndly and helpful. "

"Plentiful parking in the main Raptor Foundation car park. Check in was easy, in the building which is also a gift shop. The room (room 3) was huge - microwave and fridge included. Bathroom was a wet room which I thought might be very cold but the room is centrally heated, including the bathroom. Shower isn’t very powerful but does the job.
