"This space is clean & private, excellent for one person, would be tight for 2. Everything is well-marked and easy to figure out. There is a binder with thoughtful suggestions of where to eat and what to do in the area as well as a bicycle to use around this bicycle-friendly town. The private yard is a little soggy though was welcome given the sunshine we got in the morning. Many thanks."

"A clean and maintained property. The proprietor seems to put a lot of effort into making it welcoming and livable. I enjoyed having a full kitchen and basic ingredients (spices, cooking oil, coffee, tea, etc.) without having to buy full quantities. Some older details need work like the shower faucet. It was tricky to figure out how to change the temp. Loved having a laundry facility and free parking! All in all a great little spot to call temporary home. Would book again. "

"We took our two upper classmen boys to Arcata to check out the area. The house was great for the 4 of us. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Short drive to campus, the redwoods, and the beach. We all utilized the hot tubs during our stay. If we’re back up this way, I would definitely book again."

Only recommendation would be to improve the night stand and related electrical access to accommodate C-pap machine. Easy walk to old town and just one block away from the beautiful Carson mansion.
