Property was exactly as listed. Tim and his wife were great. We were in town for the Penn St and Ohio St game. The property was perfect for our two day stay.
Tim and Mary are amazing hosts. They are very thoughtful and attentive towards their guests. This location is in a quaint community and it was wonderful to disconnect from usual life and to relax in a quiet home.
We were here for a Penn State football game and this location is wonderful and easy to access. As a guest from the Midwest, the farmhouse and hospitality was just like home!
Tim and Mary provided a wonderful place for our family. They are very kind and thoughtful and the location was perfect for our needs. The valley is beautiful, no matter what time of year you visit.
Great stop with four bicycle friends riding from northern Pa to Hancock, Md
Tim and Mary do a wonderful job. Spotless and unexpectedly but appreciated, stocked with breakfast items. Couldn’t ask for anything more and super comfortable in a beautiful area of Amish country. What a find!
We were in the area for our daughter's graduation from PSU, and the house fit our needs perfectly. It was an easy drive to campus, and we did not have to deal with the price gouging that all the hotels do on busy weekends there. Everything we needed was provided, and then some. If back in the area, we would definitely stay there again.
Such an amazing house with a fantastic location. Beautiful scenery and so fun learning about the Amish communities nearby.
We had absolutely everything we needed for the stay. We came up for our daughter's graduation from Penn State and our family stayed for a few days.
Hosts were very kind and helped us with a few ideas of where to explore locally.
Highly recommend!
This was an amazing property. It provided exactly what we needed for the short weekend. Hosts were great. Met us when we arrived and reviewed the house with us. Home was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again when we are back in the area.
We had a great experience during our stay . The hosts, Tim & Mary, were easy to communicate with and so welcoming. The home is clean and cozy with the necessary amenities- we were all very comfortable. We stayed here after an event at Penn State, so we didn't get to spend much time on the property, however it was easy access from route 80, and located in a quiet, beautiful and scenic area. I would definitely recommend this stay for anyone looking in the area.
Tim and Mary are awesome. Really can’t say enough about them and the property. Super clean, kitchen, fire pit, quiet. Beautiful location. I brought my wife and three boys down for a Penn State game and had an awesome trip. Cooked hot dogs on the fire pit last night of the stay. Would love to come again to see more of the area.
We loved our stay. Peaceful location beautiful old home. The hosts, Tim and Mary, live next door and were so amazing. The house was well stocked, beds were comfy. We loved hanging by the fire and watching the horse and buggies. We were worried about the lack of WiFi but were able to use our hotspot successfully, they also get the local channels on the TV. We plan to go back! Thank you Tim and Mary for being so wonderful and sharing your beautiful home!
Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The location was convenient to Lock Haven University for graduation. Our Host was very helpful and easy to communicate with. The house was well furnished and supplied. Our Host even provided fresh farm eggs. ❤️❤️❤️
What a delightful, charming home! Our group of 6vstayed after. Penn State football game. Conveniently just 40 minutes from the stadium, the home was immaculate, well stocked with every possible amenity and the provision of milk, eggs and Amish bread was beyond thoughtful
Tim and Mary were so nice and accommodating. Communication was excellent from the beginning. The area is so incredibly beautiful. We want to come back and explore the area further.
We were so pleased to find such a delightful and charm place to stay as we had a college cross country meet to go to.
The house was super clean, very organized and well stocked for anything and everything we could have needed!
Tim and Mary were super kind and welcomed us as we got there (even though we did arrive later in the evening). They made sure we knew where everything was and also were so sweet to provide fresh eggs and fresh homemade bread! This was such a nice and thoughtful touch!
We will definitely be back the next time our son has a cross country meet in Lock Haven!
I have never had a better experience with any vacation house! Tim and his wife graciously allowed us to check in very early with little notice, to accommodate my infant daughter. They also offered a highchair/seat for her, that is their grandchildrens'. The house was perfect and spacious for our family trip. We were driving to Williamsport for the Little League World Series, but liked being out of the hustle and bustle (about 35 min drive). The hosts thought of everything, from milk, butter, eggs, and fresh homemade bread, to coffee and cereal in the cupboards. If we ever come back to the area, we will definitely be staying here!
This was the last destination on a nearly 3,000 mile trip for us. Tim was wonderful dealing with a late check in for us due to several road delays. The house had such a welcoming smell and there was even a loaf of Amish bread, with milk, butter and eggs in the refrigerator. Unfortunately we were only able to spend a few hours there due to the late arrival but we are trying to plan a return in a couple of years. We’ll definitely look for this location first!
The house had so much character, I honestly don’t know what our favorite part about it was!
Thank you again for such a pleasant night!
