The manager called the day we were meant to check in to ask us to check in late which we did because they were on holiday or there was a staff shortage or someone was sick - I couldn't keep up with what the problem was. "The chalet was clean and comfortable with all required amenities. There was plenty of seating outside in both the shade and the sun and it’s own tucked away car parking space. There was a washing machine, bikes, kayak and table tennis available on site which was quiet and tucked away over a little bridge from the village road. The village itself was beautiful with a canal running through it, two restaurants (need to book at the weekend) and a bus into Leiden. It was an easy drive from Amsterdam...

"Auch wenn der Jachthafen nur vom aussenbereich sichtbar war, war die Lage sehr gut. Allerdings war die Ausstattung etwas dürftig und die Wohnung zwar groß aber eher zweckmäßig als gemütlich. "
