"The location is perfect, borders the rail trail, creek is just off back yard. The house needs updating and was not the cleanest. Some curtains were ripped and clipped together. Windows over the whole house were very dirty. The back deck is very unsafe, needs repaired. All that being said, we will rent again, just wish some of the issues could be addressed."

"We had a wonderful time during our 3 day weekend. There were seven women in our group. We are high school friends now in our 50’s meeting up for a girls’ weekend. We had plenty of space. We enjoyed the fire pit, the side cabin and the large dining room table. The beds were comfortable. The showers were clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our snacks and meals. "hello just wanted to let you know if you had fans for the upstairs windows then we would have to leave the AC on for half the day,See there only on e window in each room so the cool air dosent come in.maybe a 3 speed fan and it has to fit like 24 inch fan big enough to cool the room...wasted alot of electricity with AC on all the time.thanks the fans are cheap in comparison."

"My family and I needed a place to stay while visiting Williamsport to support our dad as he underwent major surgery and recovery. I found the Mountain House, saw the photos and it looked like just what we needed. And the house didn't disappoint! It feels like a home, which was exactly what we hoped for and needed - a place to relax in between hospital visits, and place to rest comfortably and make dinner. The kitchen is the most well-equipped kitchen I've ever had the joy of using during a VRBO...
