"Pleasant but draughty room. Could have done with draught excluder for door as wintery condition's blowing in. Mildew on nets slightly off putting. Breakfast quality very good. Evening meals good and hearty. Encountered some very narrow roads to get there. Plenty of car parking. Bit to doggy orientated for us non dog owners."

"Nice friendly pub. Room was basic but clean with a kettle and plenty of tea and coffee. Breakfast was a bit disorganised as there was no menu as such and it was difficult to find out what was available. Good if you like a full English breakfast but otherwise poor. "

"Good old pub. Family room large, and nice that it was provided with pods / machine for coffee and hot chocolate, and a kettle for the tea. Extra orange and apple juice, as well as milk in a fridge in the hallway. Local drinks available and we later sat by the fire. We had eaten earlier in the day so did not try and evening meal, but they were booked out Bed was firm and comfy, and we slept well. Cooked full "Miner's" breakfast in the morning, with mostly local produce was great. Other foods...
