"A last min booking for new years eve! I booked a family room for myself , Hubby and 7 year old son. The day arrived and the weather forecast was awful and nearly stopped our visit however after prompt, helpful communication from Regan we decided to try and brave the travel. After a lovely visit to the Copper mines we headed to the Coach house (less than 10 min drive) . At the property, we recieved a very warm welcome from the member of staff who showed us to our room. "We stayed at Bron Y Graig for just one night during a sports weekend. It’s a beautiful and comfortable guest house with stunning views. We enjoyed chilling out in the bar room playing games and chatting. I adore William Morris print so the decor at Bron Y Graig brought me so much joy! Sadly, we had to leave before breakfast which was such a shame because the smells coming out from the kitchen were delicious!"

The sunrise from bed this morning was incredible 💖 many thanks to Jo Stephen for looking after us during our stay, lots of tips on local knowledge. Carparking very convenient too. Lovely stay"

"Absolutely lovely place! Stayed here last minute due to change in plans. Hosts were so attentive! In my 30s, this isn’t a place I’d normally stay if I’m honest, but wouldn’t hesitate to come back! "Gorgeous little cottage set in the owners grounds, self check-in, very private and beautifully decorated. The surrounding area is stunning, with gorgeous Harlech beach and Snowdonia right on your doorstep! Great little pub down the road that served lovely food. The owner Gary was always quick to respond to any questions. We will be back :)"

"Pretty straight forward needed a night to stay since I was working on the weekend and the room was reasonably priced, staff is friendly, room was cleaned enough and it was comfortable enough that’s all I need so it’s worth going if you don’t fancy forking over a fortune to over places, got a pub downstairs and breakfast in the morning but couldn’t attend to those things as I drive and wake up earlier hours but overall judging the place it seemed pretty decent and I can’t complain."

"I stayed at the White Lion on my way down from Scotland. Turned out to be brilliant choice. The hotel has fantastic pub and atmosphere. I really liked the staff, very friendly lot. My room was on the top floor, it was spacious, had a great bed, good bathroom and housecleaning. 👍 It’s central to Bala and Bala is a great village."

Lovely hotel, great base to explore Llyn Peninsula

"We were very impressed with the Lion Hotel in Criccieth. It is in a great position with plenty of parking. It is a traditional character hotel, clean, well maintained and decorated with lovely staff. It was also great value, would recommend as a base to explore the beautiful Llyn Peninsula."
