"Stunning scenery and views as soon as you enter the estate and a warm welcome from reception. Room looked lovely, although a few more comforts needed. Better pillows, more toiletries, and the courtyard lighting made it hard to sleep as only had blinds (not blackouts) and no curtains. We stayed 2 nights and had no room service on the second day, so no replaced toiletries, coffee or towels (nothing major but their book said daily service). Lovely big bath. Bed was comfy. "A bit off the beaten track with the last 2 miles being up a single vehicle road but the effort to get there is rewarded with the isolation that one can enjoy. "Booked this stay as we wanted to revisit the area for our anniversary with our dogs, cottage was lovely, clean and warm.
