"Stunning scenery and views as soon as you enter the estate and a warm welcome from reception. Room looked lovely, although a few more comforts needed. Better pillows, more toiletries, and the courtyard lighting made it hard to sleep as only had blinds (not blackouts) and no curtains. We stayed 2 nights and had no room service on the second day, so no replaced toiletries, coffee or towels (nothing major but their book said daily service). Lovely big bath. Bed was comfy. "We had a wonderful time. Cwmllan feels back in time in the best way. Some reviewers seemed critical of the water pressure from the spring-fed water system but this didn't bother us much at all. It's a place to go slower, not to be rushing around! Lovely neighbours and beautiful surroundings. Wonderful choice of walks and a good old-school DVD collection for cosy rainy nights in.
