"We had plenty of space for 4 guys. We spent most of our time in living room or balcony. The sound of the fountain and architecture of the house made it peaceful. You have the full view of the city. The staff were helpful and communicative over WhatsApp. We asked for messages and coordinated with professionals familiar with house. There’s a bit of travel to and from San Jose or sure but it’s worth it. Always tell driver to follow the signs and the street has white stones lining the roadway....

"The stay is completely as advertised. Stylish and modern. Literally right next door is a vegan eatery and two steps beyond that is another eating establishment. Even if that wasn’t the case Ubereats works well and it’s so close to multiple food places that you have plenty of options. A train does run but it takes maybe 2-3 seconds to pass so by the time you say I hear the train it has already passed by. Super secure. Front gate locks, front door locks. "The house is spacious and airy, and the yard also is large and nicely landscaped. The house sits further back from the road than most houses in Costa Rica, but there is still a lot of road noise for someone coming from the United States. "A lovely house between Orosi and Paraiso, overlooking the Orosi Valley. Not far outside Paraiso--Waze took us right there. The house is beautiful and comfortable and very well appointed and supplied. The owner is only onsite part of the time, but is promptly available via WhatsApp. Her onsite assistant doesn't speak English, but we did fine with a little bit of Spanish and WhatsApp with the owner who speaks excellent English. We want to return to Casa Bartzis on a future trip--it's a winner!"

"We visited this property for two nights as a group of 11 women working on our personal growth. The house was perfectly suited to our needs and had just the right amount of space for all of us to spend time together as a group. We enjoyed the deck and green spaces for dancing and meditation, and the common area is well suited for sitting by the fire or on the beautiful meditation cushions provided in circle.
