"A comfortable room, in a nice old building, in a great location."

"Staff were fantastic. Hotel building and location were amazing. Great views across to the straights and mountains. Breakfast was really good, dinner was ok. Main issue was that we were not in the main building but a separate one (lodge). Walls there are paper thin unfortunately and could hear everything in room next door. Boiler from room nextdoor was also super loud. Not great for 200 a night! I'm sure the rooms in the main building are much better so would be good to come back and stay in them...

"The property was not only located in the most convenient location imaginable (I was working in the castle, which is literally just across the road!), but the hotel is very nice in itself. "A last min booking for new years eve! I booked a family room for myself , Hubby and 7 year old son. The day arrived and the weather forecast was awful and nearly stopped our visit however after prompt, helpful communication from Regan we decided to try and brave the travel. After a lovely visit to the Copper mines we headed to the Coach house (less than 10 min drive) . At the property, we recieved a very warm welcome from the member of staff who showed us to our room. "Very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable host. Great location, fantastic locally sourced breakfast, with standout attention to detail, like little choclates in the room, and if you run out of tea and coffee there is extra in a box on the landing. There are lot of choices in and around Betwys but we felt this was definitely one of the best. "
