"Had a lovely 1 night stay at this historic hotel. The interiors are dated but that is part of the charm. The staff were so helpful and friendly, we had an upgrade on our room because hotels.com had overbooked and the staff were very good about it. "Lovely friendly experience, we were made to feel very welcome. Room was spacious, beds were ok, room was a bit dated overall. Grab and go breakfast was adequate and easy to get to, with fresh milk and a microwave if needed. Bar was nice and cosy and closes at 9pm."
