"sharon is a sympathetic, interesting host and offers a very good service with the maintenance of the cottage. we have the impression that this is above the normal average. the cottage is furnished with natural materials. it is cosy and small. we enjoyed the view of the hills here and were able to relax and drive down very well. we stayed for 3 weeks and think that this was a good decision."

"It is a quaint property of yester year in excellent condition. The staff were very accomodating and the food options excellent and very well cooked and prepared. The staff motto on their T shirts was: Make Danseys Pass Great Again, and they certainly did that. We really enjoyed our stay."

"Kakanui is a beautiful small town with lots of activities to offer. Kim is easy to communicate with. The place is clean and has what you need to eat at home and sleep well. Comfy beds, and warm blankets. The sunroom is lovely with a fantastic view of Kakanui beach and the rivermouth. Nice garden to walk around the property. Kind neighbors too. We will stay there again"
