"Where to begin ~ We really enjoyed our time spent in this lovely cottage. The hosts were a pleasure to communicate with and we enjoyed meeting the caretaker. She is just lovely. The cottage was so sparkling clean. We had plenty of room to spread out, both indoors and outside. "This home was exactly as advertised, which is not always the case, but certainly was here. Very quiet, friendly neighborhood as well. Many rentals up here do not have A/C, but due to the unusually high humidity this weekend, we were definitely glad this one did. Simply loved everything about this rental. Next time we are in the area, we will check the availability here first. Thanks for a great weekend!!!"

"We stayed here for a weekend in Black Mountain, (2 adults, 3 older kids 12-18) and had a good time, certainly perfect for the price. It is reasonable walking distance to downtown (about a half mile) and it's a quiet neighborhood with a view of the creek in the back. "This is a great spot! This property itself is at an awesome location with a beautiful view. Wrap around decks on multiple levels accent that. It was clean upon arrival. The hosts were clear and communicative. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary things needed to prepare the food we brought. The kids really enjoyed themselves and so did we! We came with another family and it was plenty spacious enough for us all. We would highly recommend this property and would book again."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, quirky home. I loved the imperfections of the house, it greatly added to its charm. The house was impeccably clean and had everything we might need. It was very kid friendly with a nice collection of toys, and a large grassy area for the kids to run around. The check-out list was simple, without too many things needing to be done. The area was very quiet and peaceful. We would love to come back again! "
