"Booked a 2 night stay for a romantic getaway & to explore the surrounding area. On arrival at 2.30 our room was ready which was a nice surprise. "Found the place quite easy, free parking which was a great start. Check in was fast and straightforward. My room was lovely and clean, had everything i needed. All the staff that i encountered were helpful and friendly. Spent a couple of hours in the heated indoor pool and hot tub, what an amazing addition. The changing room was quite small and hard to get dried but i just quickly chucked some clothes on and got dried properly back at my room. I didnt eat on site but restaurant area looked...

"Very enjoyable stay after a day’s cycling. Ate in the bar at night - food was fine but not outstanding - service excellent. Breakfast on the other hand was very good indeed. Hotel has a strange layout in that there are no lifts - to get to our room you had to go up approx 15 steps, walk along a corridor, then descend another staircase - very strange and not too welcoming after 4 hours on a bicycle !! "
