"We enjoyed three nights at the cottage. It's beautifully decorated, comfortable, warm and welcoming - a perfect home base for nearby hikes and exploring the area. The large yard was perfect for playing soccer with our child. Renters note: we also had a fabulous meal at nearby restaurant Fern. "

"The house on the lake is clean and very cute. A few things to keep in mind… The stairs to the loft are VERY steep and VERY narrow. So both adults and small children may struggle to get up and down, especially with any type of luggage. There are no closets or dressers for your clothes so maybe bring hangers and a hook for behind the door. Everything else was perfect. "

"Beautiful cottage, spectacular property, wonderful hosts. Not sure what else to say? We came up to CT with our pup to look at areas we may want to move to. We came from CA and met up with my son who is an east coast college student, gathering our family to relax together in the peace of the countryside. While this cottage looks small on the outside, it actually has two spacious bedrooms, an office, a tv room, a living room, kitchen and laundry/mud room. It was the perfect size for the four of us. We had a blazing fire in the fireplace; we had all we needed to cook great meals; we felt so at home...

"The house was cozy. Check in was easy. The washer dryer was helpful and there were plenty of towels and blankets. All 3 mattresses were quite uncomfortable, and the couches could use an upgrade. There was only one frying pan in the kitchen, which made cooking a little tricky. The windows may not have been opened for a while as it was quite dusty when I opened them to let in some fresh air. "
