"This property is a remodeled older house. With all that old house charm. It is spacious and has three bedrooms, each with a queen bed. The couch is extremely comfortable and it was great watching TV and sipping wine."

"I believed I was booking an "apartment" for my wife and 6yo son to stay. When she arrived what she found was something more like a shed in the driveway of a much larger house next to it. Parking is crowded. My wife didn't feel safe so I told her to go get a hotel. BTW, neither VRBO nor the property owner were interested in capitulation."

"We had a great time at Highland Lake. The apartment was so comfortable, and larger than I would have thought from the description. It was convenient to town - the teens loved access to DQ, pizza shops, etc just a few minutes away. "Perfect for our visit to our children and grand children. The lake is across the street with the marina next door. Rented a pontoon boat, at a discounted rate for beautiful day with the kids. Minor problem getting in initially, but resolved by Jeanne quickly. Note that this is a renovated lake residence which has a second story rental which can get a bit noisy and the bathroom is in the rear of the house with the bedroom in the front. Overall will be returning in the future."
